Materials : Printed crepe de chine, white linen, DMC stranded thread
Embroidered area is 3.5" x 3.5" (90x90mm)

This is a bold and vibrant embroidery despite the fact that I used crepe de chine which normally gives a light and airy when you use it. It's a bit tricky to keep in place too but I managed to tame it here!

The crepe de chine is printed with my own design (Berries and Leaves) which I have  previously printed and made up as a scarf. I pinned the crepe de chine on to white linen and used DMC single stranded threads in complementing colours and a variety of stitches to fix it to the linen.
