This slow stitch embroidery is made up of layers of overlapping silk in indigo and mink with frayed selvedges included sewn using a variety of embroidery stitches on to white linen. I think there was a gentle breeze when I embroidered this because the long stemmed flowers on the top appear to be gently floating aorund.
