This is a bold, one-off embroidery of some very pink gerberas. These flowers are definitely not shrinking violets! I kept the embroidery stitches fairly straightforward using a simple combination of long stitch, running stitch and back stitch. The bright pinks of the gerbera petals and the light brown back stitch for the leaves both appear to like sitting together on the chocolate brown linen background.
